– Review food safety certificates, lab reports, sanitation records, mock-recall results, and customer complaint logs.
– Ask for examples of export documents used for recent shipments.
– Ask how the facility updates procedures when importing markets change residue, quarantine, or lab-test requirements.
– Ask whether management can explain corrective actions from previous audits.
